reverie
Reverie is a journal app for what you'd write if no one could read it, it's safe space for your feelings.
I wanted opening the app for the first time to feel different from opening anything else. So it starts slowly, on purpose.
handmade by design
Every icon was drawn in Figma, the font looks hand-drawn, the journal had a paper texture to make it feel closer to the real thing and the buttons have uneven edges.
I wanted this app to feel personal, emotional, and built with intention.

just you and your thoughts
Tap the journal, write what you came to write, close the app. The entry is yours, saved on your phone, waiting whenever you have more to say.
I wanted writing to be the only thing happening no formatting, no sharing, no decisions, no count. It's just you and your thoughts.
deleting a journal
Sometimes you write something down just to get rid of it. Reverie's delete is a fire, the page catches, burns, and the words turn to ash. Like releasing the thought, not just deleting a record of it.
I wanted delete to feel like a small ritual, not a system action. Burned paper can't come back, and neither can the entry, the fire is a custom shader which shifts color to match the theme you're in.
pick your mood
A real notebook lets you pick its cover. Reverie does the same, six themes that change the mood of the page without changing the mechanics of writing, just the feeling around them does.
Minimal doesn't have to mean the same. Some days you want stark white paper; other days you want late-night calm or vintage warmth.
start your journal
I made Reverie because I needed somewhere quiet to write. Some people do too. I also wanted to build more personal & emotional software so this was my first attempt in doing so.
The app is live on the App Store. Feel free to try it. It's private by design and I hope it can help you slow down too.
